The important role 'mindset' plays in our business success
All of us experience challenges and adversity as part of running businesses - that goes with the territory! But it's how we 'think' about those challenges that plays a huge part in defining the outcome.
I've always been a strong believer that the 'thinking' is just as important as the 'doing' in business and when they are aligned, that's when the magic happens!
But in March 2020, when Covid hit our events business, that was tested to the full when being in an industry that was all about bringing people together didn't seem a very good place to be!
Our business literally stopped overnight.
So, over 2 years later it was a real pleasure to be invited to a 'fireside chat' with Local EC Member
Tony Fields from The Katalyst Coach to talk about our success in overcoming the adversity we faced in our events business during that time. It's quite a story and it highlights the importance that 'mindset' played during that time and how maintaining a positive mindset is a big part of why we are still here today, and thriving too!
